Mr. Trevor Harrison joined the OSLS faculty as 5th and 6th grade homeroom and upper school teacher in the fall oof 2026. Mr. Harrison was classically homeschooled through 9th grade, which was instrumental in forming him into a curious and eager student. The focus on learning how to study the Western canon was an irreplaceable part of his childhood and he is grateful for the opportunity to share this intentional learning and rich content with OSLS students.

Mr. Harrison graduated from Hope College where he studied physics and mathematics while embracing his love of the liberal arts. He was the recipient of various academic awards and served as a teaching assistant. He is an avid reader and equipping him to guide students in their study of great Literature. His extensive study of Latin has prepared Mr. Harrsion for teaching grammar, writing, and Latin courses.

Mr. Harrison’s hobbies have included theater productions, soccer, and he can be found playing professional disc golf on the weekends. He married his high school and college classmate, Adeline (née Thalhammer) and they live in downtown Grand Rapids near her work at Acton Institute.
