Rev. Jeremy Swem was called to be Senior Pastor at Our Savior Lutheran Church and School in 2019. Prior to that he served as principal and teacher at the school and associate pastor at the church.

Rev. Swem earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Concordia University, River Forest IL.  After teaching middle school for two years followed by high school for five years, Rev. Swem attended Concordia Theological Seminary from 2007-2011 where he earned his Master of Divinity and cultivated a love for learning and teaching Biblical Greek.

In addition to teaching Greek on Tuesdays to middle school students, Rev. Swem loves teaching about the eternal truths of God’s Word in Christian Faith and Catechesis classes and preaching at daily morning prayer.

Rev. Swem married his college sweetheart Katherine just after college graduation. They have been given the gift of four boys. They enjoy hiking, camping, reading, and playing games with their boys.
